If you missed your chance to buy tickets for any of Björk’s concerts this fall, don’t despair – two new extra performances by the artist have been added to the roster.
Björk was originally slated to be performing six shows in the new Harpa concert hall. As Iceland Airwaves organisers describe the work, Björk’s show will “feature a range of specially conceived and crafted instruments, among them a bespoke digitally-controlled pipe organ; a 30 foot pendulum that harnesses the earth’s gravitational pull to create musical patterns – creating a unique bridge between the ancient and the modern and a bespoke gamelan-celeste hybrid. These devices reveal some of the physical processes that are the subject matter of the songs.”
Tickets for these six shows sold out quickly, but Iceland Airwaves has announced that two more performances have been added, for 31 October and 3 November.
However, there will only be 700 tickets sold for either performance, so all interested parties should be sure to act fast. Tickets go on sale at noon today, and can be purchased here. Prices are 9,900 ISK for standing room only, or 12,900 for a seat.

Also keep in mind that there will be 200 “first come, first served” tickets available for her 12 October and 16 October shows, for registered Iceland Airwaves attendees.
