Iceland Airwaves Announces Airwaves Pro Music Industry Conference

Today, Iceland Airwaves announced a new part of their programme entitled Airwaves Pro. A music industry conference, it’ll be held in collaboration with Iceland Music, STEF, Reykjavík Music City, Firestarter, and MIT Bootcamps. The goal of the conference is to connect creative professionals from all over the world and will feature panels, seminars, keynotes, and networking sessions. In tandem with the announcement, they revealed four of the speakers taking part in the event, which are Allison Donald, Stephen O’Reilly, Tina Tallon, and Nelly Ben Hayoun. The conference will run on Thursday, November 7th, and Friday, November 8th.

“Iceland Airwaves has a long standing reputation for shining light on the best new talent from Iceland and beyond,” Will Larnach-Jones, Managing Director of Iceland Airwaves, said in a statement about the release. “It makes great sense to connect the best of the music industry together from both continents, in an amazing city, and to have great fun doing it.”

The conference will feature a bunch of interesting events, such as a collaboration between MIT Bootcamps, an innovation and entrepreneurship programme from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Firestarter, Iceland’s first start-up accelerator, which will sure to produce some amazing results.

Iceland Airwaves will be held on November 6th to 9th in Reykjavík. Tickets are currently 17,900 ISK and can be bought here.
