Two Icelandic Crime Novels Shortlisted For Petrona Award

Crime novels Reykjavík Nights by Arnaldur Indriðason and Silence of the Sea by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir have been shortlisted for the 2015 Petrona Award for the Best Scandinavian Crime Novel of the Year.

Kati Hiekkapelto’s The Hummingbird has also been nominated, as has Jørn Lier Horst’s The Hunting Dogs, Hans Olav Lahlum’s The Human Flies and Leif G W Persson’s Falling Freely, As If In A Dream.

The winning title will be announced at the annual international crime fiction event CrimeFest, held in Bristol 14-17 May 2015.
