Parents and children alike got quite the surprise when the Nymphomaniac trailer was screened ahead of the 3 pm showing of animated film Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2, reports Fréttatíminn.
“Now, I’m a great fan of Lars Von Trier’s and have seen most of this movies but I did think it was a little inappropriate for a kid’s matiné” said Stefán, a father who attended with his children, “We came in and right as it started and the screen was covered in buck-naked women, one of which was being vigorously spanked. Then there was the lesbian scene. Luckily me and the other dad’s there got up and walked right out with the kids, so they didn’t have to watch much of it.”
Another father who attended hoped that the kids just forgot about it.
Háskólabíó cinema have apologised for the mistake and encourage anyone in that screening who was unhappy to reach out.
