Baltasar Kormákur’s latest film, 2 Guns, has made over 100 million USD worldwide, nine weeks after it premiered.
The action film has made over 75 million USD in USA where it opened in over 3.000 theatres beginning of August.
It is now running in 200 theatres in the US and still running in various other countries.
Film maker Baltasar might therefore be the first Icelandic artist to get revenue of over 100 million USD, or over 12 billion ISK, for one project, Vísir.is reports.
