Lamb On The Loose, No Sight Of Mary

A lone ram lamb was roaming the streets of Akureyri, North Iceland, most of the night.

Police in Akureyri was notified shortly after midnight, that a lamb was on the loose in town, Mbl.is reports.

The lamb was captured in the early hours of morning, when somebody managed to grab a hold of its wool, and was instantly taken to the animal inspector, who now awaits for the owner to come forth.

According to the Akureyri police, no one got harmed but it is yet unclear what the lamb’s intentions were.

Police thought it not necessary to interrogate the lamb but would like to point out to lambs and other livestock to stay out of urban areas.
