Director Baltasar Kormákur has plans of making TV series based on Eve Online, the multiplayer online role-playing game created by Icelandic video games developer CCP Games.
He has just finalized an agreement with CCP Games, Baltasar told Time online edition.
But being a non-gamer himself, he states that the Eve series will appeal to everybody, not just players. Admitting that he only played Pac-Man as a kid, Baltasar says he hopes to do something that Lord of the Rings and Star Trek managed to do, to bring in new fans.
