Most Icelanders Support the Protestors

About two-thirds of Icelanders are support the protestors, according to
a new poll from Fréttablaðið, while at the same time, most were against
the use of violence, attacking policemen, and disorderly conduct. 45.7% said they were happy with the protestors, 20.6% were very happy with them, 13.5% were against the protests, 10% were very against them, and 10.2% had no opinion. More women were against the protests than men. Among political parties, 87% of Left-Green supporters also support the protests, compared with 76% of Social Democrats and 32% of Conservatives.
