The annual Reykjavík Shorts & Docs Festival has received a record 370 submissions for this years installment, RÚV reports.
The festival, which debuted in 2001 at the Nordic House, has more recently been housed at Bío Paradís and featured 75 short films and documentaries in 2012. The list of selected films to be shown at this year’s festival, running 9-16 May, has yet to be announced, but festival organisers have their work cut out for them as they review the many films submitted from over 60 countries.
