I would start the day with an off venue gig in 12 Tónar with Mr. Silla at 17:30—it’s definitely a must see Airwaves act. She makes very nice music, her voice punches you in the heart and makes you forget your troubles.
After that I would head on down to Húrra to see Vaginaboys at 20:00. This group is very interesting. ‘Elskan af því bara’ was on repeat last summer. There is something super sexy about the music—it’s mating season when Vaginaboys hit the stage.
Then I would recommend to check out Teitur Magnússon at Iðnó at 23:30. His songs are great, his supporting band is great; it’s just feel-good music.
Lastly I would go to Gamla Bíó to see Pink Street Boys at 00:10. They play their music so loud, it will leave your ears humming for a couple of days. It’s just raw rock and roll, and a lot of attitude.
