The grassroots indie music festival Hátíðni is looking for all kinds of artists, with an announcement geared specifically for low-fi musicians.
Hátíðni is organised by post-dreifing, a grassroots indie music collective from which the bagdad brothers sprung forth. The announcement for Hátíðni encourages prospective artists to apply for the festival by this Friday’s deadline.
Of special note is the fact that even decidedly low-budget artists have a shot at making the cut, as the sole requirements for entry are the following:
1. Any type of recording of your music (a phone recording can be enough)
2. At least one picture of you or your band
3. A short bio / description of the project
Interest parties are advised to attach these items to an email addressed to post-dreifing@post-dreifing.is, and to write their artist name and HÁTÍÐNI 2019 in the subject column of said email.
