The KIOSK fashion boutique is something of an institution, having sold the work of the designers behind the enterprise—EYGLO, Helicopter, milla snorrason and kyrja—for several years at their previous Laugavegur location. It’s no coincidence that they’ve won our Best of Reykjavík’s “Best Place To Pick Up Local Fashion” award seven years running.
Last weekend, they opened their brand new store, having relocated to Ingólfsstræti 6. The new space feels bigger, with fancy changing rooms and a minimal décor, and the opening party was packed with curious onlookers sipping gin and tonic, and lining up for goodie bags. Drop by for a look—who knows, your purchase might turn out to be an investment if a KIOSK garment becomes a future classic.
