The famed singer/songwriter will be performing at the Westfjords music festival for the first time.

Organisers of the Aldrei fór ég suður music festival announced that Emiliana Torrini will not only perform at the festival – she will also be backed up by a band specifically assembled for the festival, and her performance will be “specially designed” for the occasion.

Other acts announced to perform include Sykur, GKR, Úlfur Úlfur (who won Grapevine’s 2015 Band of the Year at our annual Music Awards) and Agent Fresco, amongst many others.

Aldrei fór ég suður is scheduled to take place in Ísafjörður from March 24 to 27. This year will mark the 12th anniversary of the festival.
