Mammary glands were on display at Reykjavík’s Laugardalslaug swimming pool last night as women streamed in to end #FreeTheNipple day with a topless swim.
“We’ve never really cared one way of the other,” Logi Sigfinnurson, Director of Laugardalslaug told Vísir when asked whether it was forbidden for women to bathe topless at the pool. “We never comment on it. It comes up every summer. The guests are sensitive to it to varying degrees but as long as people aren’t hurting anyone then it’s all just fine.”
As reported, Iceland’s feminists rallied against cyber bullying and fought for topfreedom by baring their breasts on Twitter and other social media under the hashtag #FreeTheNipple yesterday.
