A young raven still learning to fly got into a tight spot with a cat at the Einar Jónsson Museum yesterday

A young raven still learning to fly got into a tight spot with a cat at the Einar Jónsson Museum yesterday, reports RÚV. The young raven was one of four that did not take flight when a neighbourhood cat came lurking.

The young raven’s parents built a nest under the museum’s roof and the family was searching for food in the museum garden when the cat came by. The raven’s parents and sibling flew to higher ground but the young raven, still learning to fly, could not.

The raven family croaked, keeping an eye on their young from above, calling the attention of the museum staff who came outside.
