Laugardalslaug  swimming pool will be open for 24-hours on the 24th of June in connection with Reykjavík’s annual Midsummer Midnight Run, reports Vísir.

The Midnight Run, both a 5 k and 10 k, depending on the participant, starts and ends at Laugardalslaug swimming pool.

The last time Laugardalslaug swimming pool remained open all night was in 2010. The event was a success with many patrons staying well into the night.
