Police were called to the airport yesterday to deal with a drunk passenger who set off a plane’s fire alarm by lighting a cigarette in the toilet, reports Vísir. 

The woman in question was in her 30’s and considerably intoxicated when she disrupted the WOW Air flight by attempting to smoke and acting in a disorderly manner. 

After being escorted to the airport’s police quarters the woman expressed regret for her behaviour and was let go.
