From Iceland — Investigates Ozone Treatment For Hepatitis C

Investigates Ozone Treatment For Hepatitis C

Published November 5, 2013

The Director General of Public Health has requested explanations from owners of an Icelandic website that advertises “ozone treatment” for hepatitis C.

Website o3.is offers a 4-6 weeks treatment for hepatitis C which consists of very little medicine but more of what seems to be equipment that blows ozone on the patient, to treat the illness.

According to Mbl.is, such ozone treatments have been banned in the USA.

The owner of the website told Mbl.is that the company only hires out ozone machines for people to get rid of mildew and fungus in their homes but doesn’t cure any disease.

He refused to comment further.
