Icelanders Win Video Game Award

Published July 11, 2012

A group of four young Icelanders won an award in game design at this year’s Imagine Cup, a software competition sponsored by Microsoft.
Of the 506 teams who competed, Radiant Games hit the 4-5 position in the category of Game Design: Xbox/Windows. As RÚV reports, the members of Radiant Games are pleased with the outcome, especially considering the competition from around the world.
Their game – Robert’s Quest – is a platformer that challenges the player to find ways of creating green and renewable energy for a city and have a positive effect on the world.
