Icelandic MPs are already commencing their information campaigns with other politicians overseas with regards to Icesave.
According to Vísir, our MPs intend to travel to Strassbourg for the Council of Europe meeting on 25 to 29 January, and then to the Nordic Council in Denmark on 26 and 27 January.
According to sources closes to Vísir, these two meetings will be used to better explain the situation to politicians overseas.
Information campaigns from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have already commenced, especially in light of the oft-repeated falsehood that the president’s veto means that Iceland will not pay Icesave.
