The BBC show Fast Track takes a look at Iceland, with attention paid to the puffins of the Westman Islands, as well as how the economic crash is being used to help boost tourism.<br>
The show, which you can watch here, first investigates “how the seismic banking crash has resulted in helping the countries tourism trade take off. Hotel bookings have risen whilst shopping prices have halved, with some businesses even considering expansion.”
For those more interested in Iceland’s more enduring themes, Fast Track also covers puffins, in addition to “how the local children of Heimaey known as ‘The Puffin Patrol’, dedicate their time to help pufflings in distress”.
Both shows are free to watch online.
