Wow! Justman just dropped a new song, and what a fucking scorcher of a tune that is. It’s called All The Colours Of The Night, and it’s the first thing we get to hear from his forthcoming World On Fire LP. A dark and densely-layered ode to Reykjavík’s nightlife, the tune features a rich soundscape of jangly acoustic strumming, bouncy bass and atmospheric synthesizer swirls. Dreamy, energetic and catchy as hell, it might be just what we needed.
That album can’t come soon enough.
Just check it out!

Well, you probably know him, under several different monikers, too. The man behind the Just is one Kristinn Gunnar Blöndal, a dude who fans of Icelandic music should already know (and if you don’t, for shame!). As KGB, he’s kept the whole of Iceland dancing for the past several years, widely considered one of Reykjavík’s best DJs—if not the best. He’s also an active participant in the local music scene, as member of bands like Mr. Silla, producing albums for the likes of Snorri Helgason, and remixing folks such as Retro Stefson, Kría Brekkan and FM Belfast, to name a few.
Kristinn released his solo debut, Happiness & Woe, as Bob Justman in 2008, to great critical acclaim. Since then, he’s kept the project on ice, all the while writing and recording material for a second album on the DL. After years of waiting, we’re just now getting to hear some of it. Having dropped the ‘Bob’, Kristinn has assembled a full band to accompany him on stage.
Check him out TONIGHT AT IÐNÓ! 8:50 PM! YES!
