John Grant and the Iceland Symphony Orchestra – 20:00-21:30 at Harpa Eldborg
There are symphony arrangements and then there are symphony arrangements. This is the kind that complements and elevates music into exploding-head-epic-ness. But if you did not get ticket for Eldborg, fear not.

Bistro Boy – 20:50-21:30 at Húrra
Here we have kind of an Sophie’s Choice—see 80s infused Berndsen (20:50-21:20 at Gamla Bíó) drop some unreleased songs, or chilled-out Bistro Boy with his new live-set and new vocalist.

Gunnar Jónsson Collider – 21:40 – 22:20 at Húrra
“A Comforting Message” was one of my favorite tracks of 2013, yet I´ve not seen Gunnar Jónsson Collider live. Thursday night this will change.

Sea Change – 22:20-23:00 at Tjarnarbíó
Sea Change toured with Good Moon Deer (whose Friday show in Norðurljós is highly recommended). Reverb heavy indie electronic stuff. I´m intrigued.

LA Priest – 00:20-01:00 at Gamla Bíó
Plenty of people excited about this one, and his track “Oino” sounds very promising. Should be fun.
