A Polish man has been charged with attempting to smuggle amphetamines into Iceland, RÚV reports.
The 30-year-old man was stopped at Keflavík Airport in early January with 2 kg of amphetamines stored in baby formula containers. The quantity of drugs the man was carrying would have been equal to approximately 11 kg of amphetamines once processed to be sold.
The man’s case will be filed in Reykjanes District Court next week.
