You probably know us for our pithy views on Icelandic news. You may even know us for our YouTube newscasts, where our devilishly handsome editor-in-chief delivers… erm… his pithy views on Icelandic news.
But did you know that The Reykjavík Grapevine is also a monthly paper magazine? Yes, paper. You remember paper: the stuff that people used to put ink on, in the olden days, for other people to read.
Our paper magazine has 32 pages of news, features and other good stuff which you need in your life. Of course we do put some of it here, on the web. But not everything. So if you don’t already get our magazine, we do hope that you’ve just started to feel a small, nagging FOMO…
But we’ve moved with the times, and although we still print our beloved magazine on paper we produce it as a digital file, too. And you can have it emailed to you as soon as the magazine is published every month, so you never need miss out on a nugget of Grapevine goodness ever again.
To get your e-copy of the magazine, hot off the virtual presses, click here to join our High Five Club at either the ‘Secret Handshake’ or ‘Elbow Five’ level. If you hurry and sign up before Friday November 5th you’ll just make it in time for our next edition, which comes out that day.
Another benefit of club membership is being able to take part in our ‘Ask Me Anything’ Zoom sessions, when you get to shoot the breeze with the Grapevine’s news editor Andie Sophia and editor-in-chief Valur. Join the club at either the ‘Secret Handshake’ or ‘Elbow Five’ level at any time before Friday November 12th, and you’ll be able to participate in the next one that afternoon, (Icelandic time).
