MMA fighters Gunnar Nelson and Conor McGregor got a surprise visit from none of than Hafþór Júlíus “The Mountain” Björnsson while training in Dublin for the upcoming UFC194, reports Vísir.
In short, Hafþór Júlíus – who is 6’9″ and weighs somwhere around 420 pounds – took on the 5’9″, 145-pound Irish fighter. The video, which can be seen below, shows that it was a friendly sort of sparring session, the Mountain is fighting in his jeans and black shoes after all, but Conor lands some good blows to Hafþór’s stomach.
Gunnar and Conor are training for fights in the UFC 194, the biggest MMA fight night of the year. The fight takes place in Las Vegas on December 12 and Gunnar will be up against Brazilian Demian Maia. Conor meanwhile will be up against José Aldo in the main event of the night.
