Yet another storm is expected to roll into Southwest Iceland at around noon today.
The bad weather will continue through the night, eventually moving northeast across the country with winds averaging 20 m/s, according to the Icelandic Met Office.
Visibility is expected to be poor due to snowfall and mountain roads will be especially difficult if not impassable, Vísir reports.
Employees of the City of Reykjavík have been busy clearing snow and throwing salt and sand on roads and sidewalks in anticipation of the storm.
They have had to clear snow almost every morning since late November given an especially difficult winter, according to Vísir.
Here’s a video of the bad weather as seen from our office at 13:40.
