Jón Gnarr and Baltasar Kormákur will join forced for the creation of a new TV-series, Jón announced on Facebook today, posting the above picture of the two.

Magnús Viðar Sigurðsson, manager of RVK Studios, confirmed the news in conversation with Vísir, adding that “the concept of the show has been decided, but I am not permitted to reveal that yet.”
The development of the series began recently, according to Magnús.

“Developing a series can take anywhere from nine to fifteen months. Sometimes more, sometimes less.” When the series will be aired thus remains unclear as well, although 2016 seems as good a guess as any.
