The Progressive Party, which leads the ruling coalition and is the seat of the Prime Minister, is currently polling at 9.5%.

According to a new poll from Market and Media Research, this level of support is down from 10.2% when the last poll was taken a month previous.

This makes the Progressives the parliamentary party with the second-lowest level of support, after the Pirates, who went from 10.7% to 8.3% during the same period.

The party with the highest level of support remains the Independence Party, unchanged at 25%. Bright Future is the second-largest party in the country, having gone from 19.2% to 21.8%.

Where other parties are concerned, support changed little between polls. Support for the Social Democrats went from 16.3% to 16.5% and the Left-Greens went from 11% to 11.4%.

Respondents were asked, “If elections were held today, which party would you vote for?” 943 respondents were reached in all, aged 18 and older.
