HBO have posted a behind-the-scenes video about filming the new season of Game of Thrones in Iceland.

In a change of pace, the cast and crew spent the summer filming in Iceland. In filming the past two seasons of Game of Thrones, the cast and crew visited exclusively in the winter, to portray life North of the wall.

This time though, they got to see a very different side of Iceland and some even complained of the heat.

Rory McCain, who plays ‘The Hound’ said “Everyone is embracing [the summer] apart from grumpy old me in my armour, I’m roasting.”
