From Iceland — Propose A Change Of Time

Propose A Change Of Time

Published November 28, 2013

MPs of Bright Future have put forth a parliamentary resolution about changing the clock permanently in Iceland.

In their explanatory statement they claim that, according to the orientation of the sun, Iceland’s time zone is incorrect and that since 1968, the country has always been set to daylight saving time, Vísir.is reports.

They suggest that authorities pick a convenient timing within the next year to move the clock back by one hour, permanently, which would result in slightly brighter mornings in wintertime.
