Vísir reports that rescue workers from the nearby village of Hornafjörður have been called to the scene. The tourists in question are reportedly not in any immediate danger.

UPDATE: RÚV now reports that all the aforementioned tourists have been rescued, with no injuries or deaths reported. Be that as it may, again: cavorting on floating chunks of ice that are headed for the sea is generally a very bad idea.
