An Icelandic man was arrested while trying to re-enter the country at Keflavík Airport after 70 thousand doses of steroids and other illegal substances were discovered in his baggage. The man’s home was also found to contain a sizeable stash of medications, RÚV reports.
The police report noted that, in addition to steroids, the man was attempting to smuggle 800 tablets of Kamagra, an erectile dysfunction drug that is illegal in Iceland. The man’s baggage also contained needles and other pharmaceutical items.
This is not the first drug-related offence this man has encountered.
In related news, a foreign man was sentenced in a Reykjanes District Court today to fifteen months in prison for attempting to smuggle 600 grams of cocaine into the country. The man had hidden sixty capsules containing the drug inside his body, but was discovered upon landing in Keflavík from Copenhagen.
