American donut church, Dunkin’ Donuts is currently in negotiations with a company about the possibility of opening a franchise in Iceland, reports Vísir.

The talks have been confirmed by Justin Drake, a senior public relations manager for Dunkin Donuts, though nothing has been signed as yet.

According to Vísir’s sources the plan is to open a Dunkin Donuts in Iceland before the end of the year, it would be the first international “coffee” chain to open in Iceland.

Dunkin’ Donuts was founded in 1950 and has since become a much loved cultural and nom-nom icon.
