As you may have heard, Iceland beat Austria in a game of football last night. The country’s capital city of Reykjavík, and pretty much everywhere else, closed down half an hour before kick-off—except, of course, for pubs, sports bars and the UEFA Fan Zone in the Ingólfstorg square.
We went down to capture the colours, faces and atmosphere of the Icelandic male football team’s biggest ever game.
