Stuff We Like!

Grapevine isn’t always fun and candyfloss. Sometimes we get downright depressed and bummed out. Hell, sometimes we’d rather just stay in bed all day complaining about stuff. This isn’t a bad thing, though. Being bummed out provides an excellent chance to partake in some downbeat blues, to gaze wistfully at the bubbles forming at the bottom of yr half-empty glass of beer, contemplating the futility of it all while a sad, sad man moans out his worries on-stage.
We weren’t planning being bummed out tonight, but hearing that one of our favourite young blues crooners is throwing a concert at Rósenberg quickly changed our plans!  Yes, the one and only Skúli Þórðarson is appearing under the moniker “Skúli The Human” at Rósenberg, premiering his mighty backing band Grjót at the occasion. He’ll be playing his own bummed-out compositions, as well as some choice tunes by Tom Waits, Elmore James and James Brown. Let’s all meet there and compare suicide notes, aight?
Captain Facebook, you should check out th’ event on Facebook.
