For the next two months, Iceland will be photographed from all angles for Google Earth and Google Street View. Two camera cars from Google arrived with ferry Norræna last night, mbl.is reports.
The cars have 360° cameras on their tops and when asked, the drivers said they looked upon it as an award to be assigned Iceland. They’re both excited about seeing Icelandic nature and also about being able to photograph a whole country in one trip.
The cars will drive all the main roads of Iceland and along main streets in villages, towns and of course, the country’s capital.
So for the next 8 weeks always look your very best, be proper and SMILE!
