An Icelandic man has offered place on his head to the general public for a tattoo in order to raise money for child sex abuse prevention centre Blátt Áfram.
Blátt Áfram works to educate the general public of all ages, in the hopes of preventing child sexual abuse. They are supported largely by donations from the general public in order to do their work. One Icelander has come up with an unconventional way to raise money for them.
The Icelander in question, Sindri Már, has created a Facebook event wherein he is offering space on his head for a tattoo. The only condition is that it must be the name or logo for a band – of which, Sindri already has three different tattoos on his head.
The highest bid received by the deadline – September 8 – will not only get their band’s name or logo tattooed to his head; all the proceeds will be donated to Blátt Áfram. Bids can be sent to styrkurblatt@gmail.com.
Sindri has encouraged those not in a band to pass on the invite to the event anyway, in the hopes of reaching as many musicians as possible.
