After shuttering their doors last August, Iceland’s first Michelin-starred restaurant Dill will open again, Vísir reports.

The restaurant will change location to the second floor of Laugavegur 59, just above the Bónus supermarket.

The location is an important point; part of the reason why Dill closed was due to its previous location on Hverfisgata. Heavy construction that is still ongoing on that street had a significant impact on the business.

Dill has received a lot of praise from the Grapevine, having won Best Must-Try Dining Experience in 2017 and Best Tasting Menu in both 2018 and 2019.

A big part of the praise is due to their artisan approach to almost everything on their menu, which changes seasonally, including making their own salt. As such, discriminating palates can look forward to rewarding themselves again.
