Keflavik International Airport was named the fourth best airport in Europe today by Airports Council International (ACI), which thoroughly surveyed 127 airports worldwide. Within Europe Keflavik International Airport ranks just behind Porto, in Portugal; Southampton, in the UK; and Zurich, in Switzerland, which claimed the highest kudos.
In comparison to other airports throughout Europe and the world, Keflavik was included among the highest rated airports for its excellent customer service and its spacious facilities. While ranked fourth in Europe, Keflavik is the eighth best airport of all those surveyed around the globe that host fewer than 5 million passengers annually.
