Duo Halleluwah are bringing the electronic garage—and the psychedelic kitchen sink to boot—on the back of their critically acclaimed eponymous debut album, which they are celebrating tonight. They are joined by EAST OF MY YOUTH, an experimental pop trio fresh out of Reykjavík (or the moon). Their signature style features deep beats, experimental instrumentation, and soaring vocals—you can expect to see them in Pitchfork soon (maybe). Meanwhile, sharpening the edges of the night will be weirdcore savant Futuregrapher with some dirty rhythms.
Halleluwah’s album release party is held at Húrra, tonight at 21:00. Read the full listing here.
