Lockerbie is a four-piece pop/post-rock band from Iceland. Lockerbie’s music has a unique position in the Icelandic music scene with their melodic pop/post-rock, sweet, phantasmagorical timbre and dreamy soundscapes. When preforming live they are normally accompanied by a brass and string quartet and put on an energetic and powerful show. Having already released their debut album both in Iceland and abroad (e.g. Germany and Japan) in 2011, Lockerbie are working on their second album which will be released in the fall of 2013.
