Blood Feud

Hailing from Iceland, the band Blood Feud has been active in the Icelandic metal scene for the past few years.
The band was founded in 2006 by Böðvar Ólafsson, Ingólfur Hallgrímsson, Jakob Reynisson and Stefán Bjarnason. In the early days, the band started out by playing cover songs and soon began writing their own material, thrash metal at first, and later on it developed to a thrash/death with more technical variations. Blood Feud’s first release was the EP ‘Adjustment To The Sickest’ in 2008. Soon after, they started to play local shows in Iceland and built up a steady fan base. Blood Feud hit the studio and recorded their debut album ‘Hiding Behind The Light’ in 2010. In the middle of the process, bassist Ingólfur departed from the band and was replaced by Óskar Rúnarsson. He joined Böðvar behind the microphone, providing a new sight to the vocals, making the band tighter and heavier than ever. The album was released in early 2012 and that same year the band scored 2nd place in the Wacken metal battle in Iceland.
Blood Feud is currently working on new material.
