Grísalappalísa

Grísalappalísa is a rock and roll group formed in 2012. The band features familiar faces from the Icelandic underground rock scene; Jakóbínarína’s former lead singer and drummer, Oyama’s bass player and The Heavy Experience guitarist and saxophone player – yes there is a saxophone player in the band, deal with it! Grísalappalísa’s sound is made up of not one, BUT TWO LEAD SINGERS that deliver a stream of edgy Icelandic lyrics over a tight punk rock foundation.

“Grísalappalísa’s debut LP is a romper stomper of an album, a high-pitched scream of youthful existential male angst meditated through grooves, riffs and words… Consider the scene stormed.” – The Reykjavík Grapevine
