The distributor of Coca-Cola in Iceland, Coca-Cola European Partners, has announced that from now on large quantities of coke will be imported from Sweden, instead of being produced domestically.
There is probably no other country in the world that has a stronger attachment to its drinking water. In fact, you would be hard pressed to find a bottle of water that doesn’t scream at you that it includes “ICELANDIC WATER!”
The water is so brilliant that even the urine of Icelanders is the best in the world.
The president of the company, Carlos Cruz, claims, however, that the Icelandic water adds nothing to the flavour, and that the affinity for it is just “emotional.”
“You’d have to be an expert to notice any difference,” he told Morgunblaðið.
