A man and woman were stopped at Keflavík airport Friday after attempting to enter the country with fake passports, reports DV.

The couple both had Greek passports and ID cards which upon closer inspection turned out to be forgeries.

The police intervened and arrested them both, then transferred them to the police station where they are being held while the case is processed.
