Roller Derby: Fresh Meat Workshop

19:30, Breiðholsskóli, 2,000 ISK

Reykjavík’s resident Valkyries, the Ragnarök roller derby team, are opening their doors to fresh meat on January 13th. Come learn the basics of roller derby—a sport where not only are you welcome to be crusin’ for a bruisin’, but you’re encouraged to do so with a cool nickname. Think Little Grr Maid, Thurgs Bunny, or Pain Eyre. Bring a helmet, a positive attitude, and get aggressive. Anyone over 18 is welcome. And please, don’t use your fake idea for this, teens. Lastly, don’t worry—they’ll provide skates. Check out our photo gallery of the girls here.
