From Iceland — Have You Seen This Elephant? It's Called Tissy, And It Is Sorely Missed

Have You Seen This Elephant? It’s Called Tissy, And It Is Sorely Missed

We were recently contacted by a truly heartbroken father who’s on a desperate quest to find his son’s stuffed animal. Answering to ” Tissy,” the stuffed animal in question is described by its owner’s father, Mr. Robert M Jones, as a blue elephant that’s a little rough around edges, and of an uncertain gender. According to Robert, Tissy is an extremely sentimental item to his three year-old son, who has asked for it every night since it went missing almost a week ago.

“We are saddened by the loss, but hope that somewhere out there someone has found it and handed it in,” Robert wrote, further pleading: “If it’s possible, could someone have a brief look outside when it’s a bit lighter in case we dropped it there and the snow hid it for a bit. […] I would be willing to reward the person who finds this as it would make our world especially my sons.”

Tissy was lost on December 4th, according to Robert, most likely on a Reykjavík Excursions Flybus. It might have been dropped outside the bus at BSÍ, he elaborates, or outside the Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel, although queries at both place have yet to yield results.

Ending on a positive note, Robert said he is optimistic about retrieving Tissy: “I believe it is there somewhere, I know it in my heart.”

Now is exactly the right  time for a Christmas miracle, so let’s put our hands together, keep our eyes open and help reunite Tissy with its owner. Let’s save Christmas, everyone!
