Smjörvi Margarine Being Recalled

Numerous packages of the popular margarine Smjörvi are being recalled, as broken plastic was found in one of them.

According to an announcement from Iceland Dairies (MS), select 400g packages of Smjörvi are up for recall, the reason being that plastic from one of their production machines was found inside one of the packages. As this is considered a serious safety hazard, consumers are being asked to return them.

Packages bearing the following markings are subject to the recall:
