Immigrants in Iceland in need of information and counselling can now get it for free, courtesy of the City of Reykjavík.
The service in question, Living In Reykjavík, is open to all and located on the ground floor of City Hall. It is free, requires no appointment, and is available on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 13:00.
There, immigrants can ask questions and discuss their situation with immigrant counsellors from the Reykjavik Human Rights Office, and specialists from the Welfare Department, and the Department of Education and Youth.
Being conducted for the very first time, the first turnout was reportedly very good. If you have immigration related questions, or know someone who does, we would encourage you to check it out.
